Applying the timeless wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism and meditative insight to heal ourselves as we face the everyday challenges of anxiety, depression, anger, physical pain, loneliness, and burnout.

5 week course offering different topics each week. Come to all 5 or just one

Tibetan Buddhism, and its meditative tradition, offer a wealth of skilful methods to help us find the core of our own peace, compassion and wisdom. This five-week course offers an introduction to meditation and practical advice from some of the foremost Tibetan Buddhist teachers to help all of us meet the challenges of these difficult times.

Week 1 (Wed 16 Nov): Working with Anxiety and Worry
Week 2 (Wed 23 Nov): How to Make Clear and Wise Decisions
Week 3 (Wed  30 Nov): Emotions: Beyond Good and Bad
Week 4 (Wed 7 Dec): Healing Low Self Esteem
Week 5 (Wed 14 Dec):  The Art of Working with Negative Emotions

What to expect

Sessions are run by experienced meditators and we will also watch videos by different teachers. There are opportunities to ask questions or to have discussions (if you wish).

Where:  In-person at 158 Australia Street, Newtown, Sydney (or online using Zoom)

Cost: $15 per session (full) / $10 per session (concession, unemployed, under 35)
